The Massachusetts Maritime Academy will get its first test Saturday when the Buccaneers host New York Maritime in the first round of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament 2017-18. MMA will take on a new challenge this season, taking part in a newly formed Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MSCAC).
The main feature is a 7.5-mile tour that includes a visit to the new Massachusetts Maritime Academy sports complex. It is the first of its kind in the state and will be part of the annual Cape Cod Sports Festival on Saturday, June 3.
